A little insight about the inspiration for this photo

"A Firm Foundation"

You can find this tree on the Bass Creek Trail in Montana.

The Ponderosa Pine stands firm on the edge of and in the rock cliff with the creek below.

A photographer many years ago told me to go and be in the environment first, then photograph.

The tree was a show stopper in my hike, and I just stood there watching the light and wondering how long that tree had been there and what it has witnessed in its life, Oh the stories it could tell!  Think of all the storms it has endured, threatening forest fires, and so much more.

This tree is on a firm foundation; with God's help, it will keep growing and sharing its faith, trust, and give inspiration to all who stop and notice.

2 Timothy 2:19

"Nevertheless, the solid foundation of God Stands."

nevertheless; all that I have said before come back to this; a solid foundation is in God's love and gift to us.

Faith...Trust...Stand
